IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a booking with Great World Tours.
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you and Touristic Guidance Services LLC, trading and operating its travel services under the name Great World Tours (“Great World Tours”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By requesting a quotation, making a reservation, paying a deposit or balance, accepting a booking confirmation, purchasing a travel service, or participating in a tour arranged by Great World Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
If you make a booking on behalf of other travelers, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf and that each traveler in your booking agrees to be bound by them.
These Terms should be read together with the applicable quotation, itinerary, invoice, booking confirmation, cancellation terms, payment instructions, and any special conditions provided to you before or at the time of booking.
Where a specific booking document contains terms that expressly differ from these general Terms and Conditions, the specific booking terms applicable to that service will prevail.
1. ABOUT GREAT WORLD TOURS
Great World Tours is a division of Touristic Guidance Services LLC, based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Great World Tours provides and arranges tourism and travel-related services, including, where applicable:
- Private tours
- Group tours
- Tailor-made and customized tours
- Silk Road journeys
- Cultural and historical tours
- City tours
- Day tours
- Multi-day tours
- Luxury travel
- Adventure and nature travel
- Food and culinary experiences
- Photography tours
- Family travel
- Business and corporate travel
- MICE services
- Airport transfers
- Private transportation
- Train and domestic transportation arrangements
- Hotel and accommodation reservations
- Local guides
- Excursions and activities
- Travel assistance and concierge services
- Other travel services agreed with the customer
The precise services included in your booking will be stated in your quotation, itinerary, invoice, booking confirmation, or other written booking documentation.
2. DEFINITIONS
For purposes of these Terms:
“Customer”, “Traveler”, “Guest”, “you”, or “your” means the person purchasing or participating in a travel service.
“Great World Tours”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Great World Tours, a division of Touristic Guidance Services LLC.
“Tour” means a tour, excursion, itinerary, travel package, experience, transportation arrangement, accommodation arrangement, or other travel service purchased or arranged through Great World Tours.
“Booking” means a confirmed reservation for one or more travel services.
“Supplier” means a hotel, guide, driver, transportation company, restaurant, attraction, activity provider, airline, railway operator, cruise operator, or other third-party provider used in connection with a booking.
“Booking Confirmation” means the written confirmation issued by Great World Tours confirming the relevant booking.
“Force Majeure Event” means an event beyond the reasonable control of Great World Tours, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, severe weather, transportation disruption, or similar circumstances.
3. THE BOOKING CONTRACT
A booking becomes confirmed when Great World Tours has accepted the booking and has received the required deposit or payment specified in the applicable quotation or invoice.
A contract between you and Great World Tours consists of:
- These Terms and Conditions;
- The applicable quotation;
- The confirmed itinerary;
- The booking confirmation;
- The applicable invoice;
- Any specific cancellation or payment conditions provided to you;
- Any additional written terms expressly agreed by Great World Tours.
You should review your booking documents immediately after receiving them.
Any errors in names, dates, destinations, accommodation, transportation, or other booking information should be reported immediately.
4. BOOKINGS MADE ON BEHALF OF OTHER TRAVELERS
If you make a booking for other travelers, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information for every traveler;
- Ensuring that every traveler understands these Terms;
- Making required payments;
- Communicating booking changes;
- Communicating cancellation requirements;
- Ensuring that all travelers have appropriate travel documentation.
Great World Tours may communicate primarily with the person identified as the lead traveler or booking contact.
5. AGE REQUIREMENTS AND MINORS
Certain tours or activities may have minimum age requirements.
Where a traveler is under the age of 18, the parent, legal guardian, or responsible accompanying adult is responsible for:
- Obtaining all required permissions;
- Providing required travel documentation;
- Ensuring compliance with immigration and entry requirements;
- Supervising the minor;
- Ensuring that the minor follows the instructions of Great World Tours and its suppliers.
Great World Tours does not provide childcare or personal supervision services for minors unless expressly agreed in writing.
Certain activities may impose additional age restrictions.
6. BOOKING INFORMATION
To arrange a booking, Great World Tours may require information including:
- Full legal name;
- Date of birth;
- Nationality;
- Passport details;
- Contact information;
- Emergency contact information;
- Accommodation preferences;
- Dietary requirements;
- Accessibility requirements;
- Relevant medical or mobility information;
- Visa or permit information where required.
You agree that all information supplied to Great World Tours will be complete and accurate.
Great World Tours is not responsible for additional costs, denied services, missed transportation, denied entry, or other consequences resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or late information supplied by you.
Names should be provided exactly as they appear on the traveler’s passport or other relevant travel document.
7. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain and maintain all documents required for travel.
Depending on the itinerary, these may include:
- Valid passport;
- Visa;
- Entry permit;
- Exit permit;
- Transit visa;
- Vaccination or health documentation;
- Travel insurance;
- Tickets;
- Permits;
- Other government-required documentation.
Visa and entry requirements depend on nationality, destination, transit points, and current government regulations.
Great World Tours may provide general travel assistance but does not guarantee the issuance of any visa, permit, immigration approval, or entry authorization.
The final decision regarding entry into a country rests with the relevant government or border authority.
Great World Tours is not responsible for losses caused by a traveler’s failure to obtain required documentation.
8. PAYMENTS
Payment requirements will be stated in the applicable quotation or invoice.
Depending on the booking, payment may consist of:
- A deposit;
- Partial payment;
- Full payment;
- Final balance;
- Supplier-specific payment;
- Other agreed payment arrangements.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, reservations are not guaranteed until the required payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed.
If payment is not received by the stated deadline, Great World Tours may:
- Cancel the reservation;
- Release hotel rooms or other services;
- Apply applicable cancellation charges;
- Reprice the booking;
- Require additional payment to reconfirm the services.
Customers are responsible for any bank, card, currency-conversion, or payment-provider charges applicable to their payment.
9. PRICES, QUOTATIONS AND SURCHARGES
Prices are based on the information available at the time of quotation.
A quotation may be subject to:
- Availability;
- Hotel rates;
- Transportation costs;
- Seasonal pricing;
- Exchange-rate fluctuations;
- Government fees;
- Entrance fees;
- Supplier price changes;
- Changes requested by the customer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quotation does not constitute a guaranteed reservation.
The final price becomes binding when confirmed in the applicable booking documentation, subject to any expressly stated supplier or government charges that may subsequently apply.
Additional services requested after confirmation may result in additional charges.
10. SPECIAL OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS
Promotional rates, discounts, special offers, early-booking rates, group rates, or other promotional prices may be subject to separate terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Offers are subject to availability;
- Offers may be limited to new bookings;
- Offers may not be combined;
- Promotional prices may not apply retroactively to existing bookings;
- Certain rates may be non-refundable.
11. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers.
Depending on the nature of the trip, appropriate insurance may include coverage for:
- Medical expenses;
- Emergency treatment;
- Medical evacuation;
- Repatriation;
- Trip cancellation;
- Trip interruption;
- Delays;
- Lost or damaged baggage;
- Personal liability;
- Adventure activities;
- Other travel-related risks.
The traveler is responsible for determining whether their insurance provides sufficient coverage for the destinations and activities included in their itinerary.
Great World Tours is not an insurance company and does not guarantee that any insurance policy will cover a particular loss.
Travelers should carefully review their insurance policy before departure.
12. ACCOMMODATION
Where Great World Tours arranges accommodation, the accommodation provider is responsible for its own property, facilities, services, house rules, and operational standards.
Hotel classifications may vary between countries and properties.
The following may be subject to additional charges:
- Room upgrades;
- Extra beds;
- Minibar;
- Meals not included in the booking;
- Room service;
- Laundry;
- Spa services;
- Resort or local fees;
- Security deposits;
- Damages;
- Other personal expenses.
Check-in and check-out times are determined by the accommodation provider.
13. TRANSPORTATION
Transportation may be provided by Great World Tours or by independent transportation suppliers.
Transportation may include:
- Private vehicles;
- Minibuses;
- Coaches;
- Trains;
- Domestic flights;
- Boats;
- Other transportation services.
Vehicle type, model, seating configuration, and supplier may change where reasonably necessary due to availability, safety, operational circumstances, or supplier requirements.
Travelers must comply with all transportation safety requirements, including the use of seat belts and other safety equipment where provided.
14. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS
Great World Tours may use independent third-party suppliers to deliver portions of a travel itinerary.
These may include:
- Hotels;
- Airlines;
- Rail operators;
- Drivers;
- Transportation companies;
- Restaurants;
- Local guides;
- Museums;
- Attractions;
- Adventure operators;
- Boat operators;
- Activity providers;
- Event organizers.
Such suppliers may have their own terms, conditions, cancellation policies, safety requirements, and operating procedures.
Great World Tours will make reasonable efforts to select reliable suppliers but cannot guarantee every act or omission of an independent third-party supplier.
15. ITINERARY FLEXIBILITY
Travel conditions can change.
An itinerary may need to be changed because of:
- Weather;
- Road conditions;
- Traffic;
- Transportation delays;
- Flight or train changes;
- Hotel availability;
- Attraction closures;
- Government restrictions;
- Security concerns;
- Health concerns;
- Local events;
- Supplier circumstances;
- Force Majeure Events;
- Other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Great World Tours will make reasonable efforts to maintain the confirmed itinerary.
Where a change is necessary, Great World Tours may provide a comparable alternative where reasonably possible.
16. CHANGES REQUESTED BY THE CUSTOMER
Requests to change a booking must be submitted as soon as possible.
Changes may include:
- Travel dates;
- Number of travelers;
- Hotels;
- Room types;
- Transportation;
- Activities;
- Destinations;
- Tour duration;
- Pickup locations;
- Names.
Changes are subject to availability and supplier conditions.
Additional charges may apply.
Some services cannot be changed after confirmation or may incur cancellation charges of up to 100% of the affected service.
A change to a booking does not automatically constitute a cancellation.
17. CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
A cancellation must be submitted to Great World Tours in writing.
The applicable cancellation charge will depend on:
- The date the cancellation request is received;
- The departure date;
- The type of service;
- Supplier cancellation terms;
- Whether the service is refundable;
- Amounts already paid to suppliers;
- Whether tickets or reservations have already been issued.
